Please, I beg you, be the humans I created you to be!

We cannot present ourselves as enlightened,

while we are hateful and intolerant.

We cannot present ourselves as enlightened

and judge others at the same time.

We cannot present ourselves as enlightened

and condemn others for their beliefs and practices.

We cannot present ourselves as enlightened

and attach expectations to our love and deeds.

We cannot present ourselves as enlightened,

while be unwilling to help those in need.

“Can you not hear me weep, see the tears I shed?” She asks.  “I have created you with the ability to love unconditionally, yet you refuse to tap into it.  I have created you with the ability to show great compassion, yet you choose to judge others and find them wanting because they do not meet your expectations of what they should be or do.  I have created you with the ability to take care of one another, yet you only care for yourself.  I weep, as I see the direction you are taking.  Your actions are leading to your destruction, yet you do not see it.  Open your eyes, minds, and hearts.  Change your ways before it is too late.  Please, I beg you, be the humans I created you to be!”
